Where’s Yugo Wednesday

In case you do not know me very well, I love dogs!  I cannot remember a time when I didn’t have a dog.

Right now, we have two dogs – Yugo, a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, and Ginger, some type of terrier mix.  Both of our dogs are foster failures.

In addition to our dogs, we also foster from the Cavalier Rescue Foundation of Arizona.  In 2020, we fostered a total of four dogs – Larry David, Shaun White, Charlotte and Cooper.  Fostering is hard work, but we are happy to be a part of their transition to their furever home.

I will admit that it isn’t always easy to say goodbye.

Scottsdale is very dog friendly.  Most restaurants that have outdoor seating allow dogs.  Outside Malls like Kierland and Scottsdale Quarter is also dog friendly.  Most stores even have water bowls outside for our furry friends.  As a result, we take Yugo with us when we go out to eat or to run errands.

As we were brainstorming social media posts for 2021, we came up with the idea of Where’s Yugo Wednesday.  We are going to take pictures with Yugo at interesting locations highlighting favorite places, attractions, and restaurants in Scottsdale and around the Valley.

We want to highlight what makes Scottsdale and the Phoenix area so special.

Also, who can resist pictures of a cute dog?
