Mingo’s Louisiana Kitchen is a local food truck that you need to check out.  I know you will not be disappointed!

Mingo’s features authentic New Orleans food for the Phoenix area.  You will find Po’ Boys, red beans & rice, jambalaya, catfish, shrimp & more. 

I had a friend tell me about Mingo’s.  When I showed my husband the menu, he was excited for the jambalaya.  From following Mingo’s Facebook page, I saw they were going to be serving lunch the next day.  My husband and I decided to go for a drive and take Yugo to try it out.

I am not going to lie.  It was a little bit of a drive, but it was the weekend so traffic wasn’t an issue.  We had to problem finding the food truck.

While my husband already knew what he was getting, I looked over the menu and decided to go with the fish and chips.  If you know me, you know that I am not a big seafood person.  However, the fish and chips were yummy!

There wasn’t a good place to eat at the food truck location so we drove down the street to Cesar Chavez Park.  We found a place to sit and enjoy the great food.  After lunch, we took Yugo for a walk around the water.

Great news!  Cory let me know that Mingo’s will be in North Scottsdale on January 27, 2021.  Who wants to meet up?
